Here's the poem I carried around in my pocket, and read to folks along the way, on Poem in Your Pocket Day.
This Much I Know
I have grey hair
That doesn't show
Until the roots begin to grow
I like to dance
I go and go
I have such fun, I'm not a pro
Singing, I love
You should hear me
Let's call my voice, well, strong and free
Books are the best
They are my friends
I love to read them to the end
Knitting is fun
It's a hobby
I've started projects, so MANY
I like to hike
In woods, on trails
Over the hills and over dales
I am Grammy
I have the best
Grand-kids of all, they top the rest
I have a love
He is so dear
His name is David, he's right here
I am grateful
for all I have
So full of wonder and so glad
I could go on
And on and on
But think it's time to end this song
This Much I Know
I have grey hair
That doesn't show
Until the roots begin to grow
I like to dance
I go and go
I have such fun, I'm not a pro
Singing, I love
You should hear me
Let's call my voice, well, strong and free
Books are the best
They are my friends
I love to read them to the end
Knitting is fun
It's a hobby
I've started projects, so MANY
I like to hike
In woods, on trails
Over the hills and over dales
I am Grammy
I have the best
Grand-kids of all, they top the rest
I have a love
He is so dear
His name is David, he's right here
I am grateful

So full of wonder and so glad
I could go on
And on and on
But think it's time to end this song
